Job Type: Per Diem, 1099 contract.
Pay Rate: $130/hr onsite patient care hours, $100/hr telemedicine lab review hours.
Schedule:
Copiague- 4/29.
Westbury- 4/30.
Full Description
VitalCheck Wellness is seeking a Bilingual (Spanish Speaking) Nurse Practitioner to provide general wellness checkups on site at a private business in Copiague and Westbury, NY. Our office arranges the patient appointments and does the administrative work, giving you the time and luxury to provide clinical one-on-one patient care. Usually no more than 20 patients per day.
Responsibilities:
- Provide general wellness checkups.
- Consult with patients to understand their health concerns.
- Perform blood draws for patients.
- Advise/refer patients for follow-up care.
- Provide telemedicine services for lab review follow-ups.
Requirements:
- Valid and clean license to work in NY.
- Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)/ (FNP-C)/ (FNP-BC)/ Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) certified.
- Background in internal medicine, family practice, urgent care, or emergency room.
- Must be fluent in Spanish.
- Must be able to perform phlebotomy.
- Must be proficient with computers, customer service-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Must be able to commute to Copiague and/ or Westbury, NY.
- Bonus point if you currently work in a private practice in network with Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield
