Job Description:
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) delivers quality care within the scope of practice outlined by the local state nurse practice act. This includes monitoring patients as directed by the HSA, DON, RN, or Medical Director, or other practitioner.
Responsibilities:
- Provide care for multiple patients as directed
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to medical staff
- Document actions in the MAR and medical records
- Perform other nursing duties assigned by facility
Requirements:
- Graduate from a Licensed Practical Nursing program
- Implement nursing care within LPN scope of practice
- Utilize a systematic approach to meet individual patient health needs
