Key Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance and oversight of all aspects of correctional medical care, including authorization of services, consultation with clinical operations, and overall clinical direction.
- Maintain clinical quality and integrity of patient medical care, overseeing utilization and quality management, credentialing, and best practice guideline development.
- Support facilities in developing site-specific protocols, interpreting policies, and leading initiatives related to medical services and nursing care.
Requirements:
- Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Michigan.
- Board Certification is required.
- Valid unrestricted DEA License and Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification are necessary.
- A master's degree in business administration, public health, or healthcare administration is preferred.
