Role Overview:
The Site Psychiatrist role at VitalCore Health Strategies offers a unique opportunity to develop your clinical skills while contributing to the well-being of individuals in correctional settings. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless delivery of care.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and adhere to all relevant regulations and standards.
- Develop and lead training programs to enhance the skills of site staff.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Graduate of medical school with completion of psychiatric residency.
- Licensed to practice in the state of South Carolina and certified by the Office of Behavioral Health.
- Current DEA number.
- Strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and genuine interest in working with diverse populations.
