Job Overview:
The Site Psychiatrist position at VitalCore Health Strategies offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for providing diagnostic evaluation and treatment to patients, as well as psychiatric consultation, diagnosis, and treatment to patients. This role requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for working with diverse populations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide onsite psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of inmates referred by medical and clinical services staff.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless delivery of care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and adhere to all relevant regulations and standards.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Graduate of medical school with completion of psychiatric residency.
- Licensed to practice in the state of South Carolina and certified by the Office of Behavioral Health.
- Current DEA number.
- Strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and passion for working with diverse populations.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive hourly wage ($170-175).
