DATA ANALYST SPECIALIST POSITION SUMMARY
We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Data Analyst Report Writer to create comprehensive and insightful reports that will help drive business decisions and identify patient care trends in need of process improvement. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Excel, Power BI, and Crystal Reports.
DATA ANALYST SPECIALIST ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Develop, design, and maintain dashboards and reports using Excel, Power BI, and Crystal Reports.- Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Perform data validation and ensure data integrity.
- Provide regular updates and summaries of key findings to management.
- Troubleshoot and resolve reporting issues as they arise.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve existing reporting processes and tools.
- Relationship building with other departments and disciplines.
- Acquiring data from primary or secondary sources and maintaining databases.
- Interpreting data and analyzing results using statistical techniques.
- Presentations of data during regional meetings with senior leadership and other management levels
DATA ANALYST SPECIALIST MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a data analysis or report writing role.
- Proficient in Excel, including advanced functions, data models, macros and pivot tables.
- Strong experience with Power BI for creating interactive dashboards and reports.
- Expertise in Crystal Reports, including report design and development.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently.
- Strategic thinker/ Thought leader
- Effective communication skills and ability to present data in a clear and concise manner to all disciplines within this healthcare organization
- Experience with SQL and other data querying languages is a plus.
- Experience with Corrections and/or Health Care is preferred but not required
