VitalCore Health Strategies is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team in St. Charles County Corrections, Missouri. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for providing quality care to patients and promoting a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities and Requirements
- Deliver quality care to patients, implement nursing interventions, and make assignments of duties to others as defined in the state of practice act.
- Assist in the development and implementation of teaching plans based on individual patient needs.
- Care for wounds with appropriate cleaning and dressing/bandaging, and administer medications to offenders.
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to medical staff, documenting actions in the MAR and medical records.
- Meet the requirements of a graduate from a Licensed Practical Nursing program and currently licensed as a Practical Nurse in the state of employment.
- Possess an active CPR certification and remain knowledgeable about specific state laws and regulations governing practice.
