We are seeking a highly motivated Licensed Mental Health Specialist to join our Behavioral Health Unit at MCI-Shirley in Massachusetts.
The successful applicant will possess a Master's degree in a related field and hold a valid licensure as a LCSW, LPC, or equivalent. A minimum of one year of experience in a social work capacity in a public or private agency is required.
The Licensed Mental Health Specialist will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide crisis stabilization, complete intakes and on-going evaluations, and consult with in-house and community services.
- Key responsibilities include conducting risk assessments, coordinating care with the medical team, and developing discharge plans.
- The Licensed Mental Health Specialist will also participate in monthly behavioral health calls and contribute to the planning and implementation of program goals and objectives.
