Key responsibilities include administering medications, monitoring patients' vital signs, and documenting actions in the MAR and medical records. They will also assist in developing and implementing teaching plans based on individual patient needs and provide wound care as necessary.
Requirements:
To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Graduate from a Licensed Practical Nursing program
- Currently licensed as a Practical Nurse in the state of employment
- Active BLS certification
- Knowledgeable about specific state laws and regulations governing practice
- Satisfactory completion of initial and annual clinical competencies
