Licensed Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Professional to join our team at MCI-Shirley in Shirley, MA. As a key member of the Behavioral Health Unit, you will work closely with medical staff and community providers to deliver comprehensive care to patients.

The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field, and a valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or equivalent. A minimum of one year of experience in a social work capacity is required, preferably in a public or private agency setting.

Responsibilities include providing crisis stabilization, completing intakes and ongoing evaluations, and participating in monthly behavioral health calls. The ideal candidate will also be able to make independent clinical decisions, while utilizing assistance and supervisory intervention as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide crisis stabilization and complete intakes and ongoing evaluations
• Participate in monthly behavioral health calls and work collaboratively with the medical team
• Perform risk assessment of inmates and coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams
• Assist in planning and implementing programs and projects
• Prepare necessary documentation, records, and reports
