About the Job
The Site Psychiatrist provides clinical direction, general supervision, and training to site staff. This role also involves managerial responsibilities, including approving, signing, and monitoring the implementation and efficiency of all treatment plans.
You will create discharge plans to ensure appropriate follow-up and support after discharge from the facility. Additionally, you will provide onsite psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of those inmates referred by medical and clinical services staff.
