The Mental Health Unit Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the provision of quality mental health services to patients and addressing their psychological needs. This position involves overseeing and guiding mental health professionals who provide direct care to incarcerated individuals.

To be successful in this role, you must be a Licensed, Master's Level Behavioral Health Clinician who can assess and make treatment decisions and provide Mental Health treatment. Previous experience as a Mental Health Clinician is also required.

Job Description
The Mental Health Unit Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the provision of quality mental health services to patients and addressing their psychological needs. This position involves overseeing and guiding mental health professionals who provide direct care to incarcerated individuals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as point of contact for administrative staff for discussion of treatment programs and problem resolution as needed.
- Coordinate development and revision of policies and procedures for the identification, assessment, and provision of required clinical services for inmates.
- Supervise the planning, development, and implementation of treatment programs contracted to VitalCore.
- Provide clinical supervision to staff of Behavioral Health Services.
- Monitor efforts of Mental Health Services to ensure clinical services are being provided in a timely, professional manner.
