TRAINING AND CREDITALING COORDINATOR SUMMARY
The training and credentialing coordinator serves as support to the statewide nurse educator. This position performs general administrative duties, compiling of monthly reports, and assists with the development of training materials for new and current staff members. Collaborates with the multidisciplinary team to meet the educational and credentialing needs of staff in order to promote quality patient outcomes.
TRAINING AND CREDITALING COORDINATOR ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Orients, educates, mentors, and supports nursing staff.
- Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records.
- At least 2 years of administrative experience or the equivalent of education and experience.
- Licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse in the state of employment preferred
- CPR Instructor Certification preferred
- Must have the ability to work independently, take initiative, and have good judgment and problem-solving skills.
