Wellness Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Maintains staffing schedules in accordance with current occupancy of the community including creating two-week schedules for LPNs and Personal Care Specialists
- Coordinates coverage for staff call-offs to maintain optimum staffing ratios
- Ensure staff have been assigned proper equipment and are logged in during their shift and ensures all equipment is returned at end of shift
- Assists with tracking of CPR certifications of staff and when classes need to be scheduled
- Adheres to emergency protocols, including performing CPR and administering first aid as necessary
- Performs other duties as assigned

- Must be at least 21 years old
- Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
- Meet state or provincial health related requirements
- Maintain any other certifications as required by state or provincial regulations
- Must be computer literate and able to use Word and Excel programs
