Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care, with experience in various medical settings including nursing homes, urgent care, and emergency medicine. The APRN will play a crucial role in providing high-quality healthcare services, performing assessments, and developing treatment plans for patients.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and evaluations to determine health status and needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments.
- Administer medications, perform procedures, and provide treatments as necessary.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
- Perform diagnostic tests and interpret laboratory results; experience in sonography is a plus.
- Provide education to patients and families regarding health management and disease prevention.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with regulations.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the healthcare facility.
Requirements
- Current licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in the state of practice.
- Strong clinical skills with experience in critical care, urgent care, or emergency medicine preferred.
- Knowledge of physiology and ability to perform procedures such as catheterization.
- Familiarity with dermal fillers is a plus but not mandatory.
- Experience working in nursing home settings is advantageous.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
