Position Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) will play a pivotal role in our growing research team. This position offers a unique opportunity to transition from traditional patient care into clinical research, contributing to groundbreaking medical advancements in Addiction, General Medicine, and Behavioral Health.
As an RN Clinical Research Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing and conducting clinical trials while ensuring the safety, well-being, and education of study participants. This includes direct patient interaction, regulatory compliance, data collection, and collaboration with investigators, sponsors, and internal teams.
The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, patient-focused RN with strong organizational skills, a passion for advancing medicine, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and Coordinate Clinical Trials – Oversee research studies from initiation to completion, ensuring compliance with protocols, regulatory requirements, and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.
- Direct Patient Interaction & Care – Conduct patient screenings, obtain informed consent, and guide participants through study visits while monitoring their safety and well-being.
- Administer Study Procedures – Depending on the trial, you may perform vital signs assessments, blood draws, ECGs, medication administration, and other study-related procedures as needed.
- Educate & Support Patients – Act as a trusted resource, explaining trial details, addressing patient concerns, and ensuring they understand study procedures and potential outcomes.
- Collaboration & Communication – Serve as the key point of contact between patients, investigators, study sponsors, and internal teams to facilitate smooth trial operations.
- Study Coordination & Visit Scheduling – Organize and schedule patient visits, ensuring all study-related procedures are completed in a timely manner.
- Continuous Learning & Growth – Stay up to date with the latest clinical research trends, attend investigator meetings, and gain valuable hands-on experience in an innovative field.
Qualifications:
- Active RN license (Massachusetts or Florida)
- Passion for clinical research, patient care, and advancing medicine
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Prior research experience is a plus, but not required—we’ll train the right candidate!
- Ability to perform ECG's, collect vitals, blood draws
