Role Description
This full-time, on-site role puts you at the heart of our clinic—welcoming patients, managing phone calls, scheduling appointments, and handling front desk duties with professionalism and warmth. You'll work alongside another awesome front office specialist to keep things running smoothly, and ensuring a positive patient experience.
Day-to-day responsibilities also include processing payments, assisting with medical records, checking faxes and emails, routing patient messages, and verifying patient insurance. Experience with EMR systems (Athena preferred) is a bonus.
The ideal candidate brings excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a strong sense of teamwork to the table. You should feel confident juggling multiple responsibilities while staying organized and calm, even when the pace picks up. Experience in a medical office or customer service setting is preferred, and familiarity with EMR systems (Athena is a bonus) and HIPAA guidelines will give you a head start. Being tech-savvy, solution-oriented, and eager to learn will help you thrive. Key Responsibilities
- Manage phone calls and direct patient inquiries
- Schedule appointments and assist with patient flow
- Perform receptionist duties while ensuring excellent customer service
- Handle insurance and billing information, process payments
- Assist with medical records and patient communications
- Maintain accuracy and confidentiality in all tasks
Qualifications
- Possess strong skills in Phone Etiquette and Appointment Scheduling
- Proficiency in Receptionist Duties, including managing front desk operations and patient intake
- Exceptional Customer Service and Communication skills
- Ability to efficiently use office software and scheduling tools
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is a plus
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and manage time efficiently
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional qualifications in office administration is a plus
