VitalSkin Dermatology is seeking a dedicated and skilled physician to provide general dermatology services for a growing patient base in Bucktown, Chicago, IL. This is a full-time position requiring a minimum of 32 clinical hours per week (four days), with no weekend or extended hours required.

Specific Responsibilities:
- Provide a variety of medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology services over 32 clinical hours (four days per week).
- Counsel patients on topics such as annual dermatologic screenings, sun protection, skin cancer awareness, or self-examinations for skin and lymph nodes.
- Perform incisional biopsies and skin surgeries for melanoma diagnosis, appearance improvement, early disease detection, or disease control.
- Recommend diagnostic tests based on patient history and physical examinations.
- Establish and maintain interpersonal relationships with patients, families, and healthcare personnel, ensuring confidentiality of patient information.
- Record patient health history in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Bachelors degree.
- Completion of a medical degree, dermatology residency, and board certification.
- Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) certificate in good standing.
- Current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in the United States.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills to interact professionally with patients, families, and the community.
- Comprehensive understanding of federal and state regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA compliance.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least two years of experience in a general dermatology practice.
- Experience using EMR/EHR systems.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and working at a computer.
- Ability to lift up to 15 lbs as needed.
