VitalTalent is seeking a compassionate and reliable Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) to join our team. As an Agency LNA, you will provide essential patient care services under the direction of a registered nurse or healthcare team in a variety of healthcare settings such as hospitals, nursing homes, and assisted living . This position offers flexibility, with the opportunity to work in different locations based on patient needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Help patients with mobility, including transferring, repositioning, and ambulation assistance.
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition, including vital signs, skin conditions, and overall well-being.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring patients' nutritional needs are met.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by assisting with housekeeping tasks and maintaining hygiene standards.
- Document patient care accurately in patient records, including observations and activities performed.
- Ensure patient comfort by responding to requests and needs in a timely manner.
- Assist with patient transportation within the facility or to and from appointments.
- Adhere to infection control procedures and healthcare safety standards.
- Support nurses and other healthcare professionals in delivering quality patient care.
- Follow all agency policies, procedures, and compliance requirements, including HIPAA standards.
Qualifications:
- Valid LNA license in NH.
- Minimum of 6 months of experience as an LNA in a healthcare setting.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with patients and families in a professional and compassionate manner.
- Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition patients in a safe manner.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to adapt to various patient care settings.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on patient needs.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Experience working in assisted living ,long term care environments
- Knowledge of medical software or patient record systems.
