Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable LPN or RN as Clinical Instructor to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing, geriatrics, or laboratory sciences, with experience in long and acute care settings. This role involves teaching and mentoring students in a higher education environment, contributing to fostering an engaging clinical and classroom atmosphere. this position will manage an LNA Clinical Class in Concord NH.
This is an 8 week class every Thursday from 4 30PM-9 30 PM .You will be responsible for supervising students at a facility in Concord NH for their clinicals .
Duties
- Deliver high-quality instruction in assigned courses related to nursing, LNA, and laboratory sciences.
- Deliver and implement effective curriculum and instructional materials that meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Assess student performance through assignments, exams, and practical evaluations.
- Provide academic support and guidance to students, fostering their professional growth and understanding of course material.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to enhance the educational experience and maintain program standards.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum review processes.
Qualifications
- A degree in nursing LPN or RN is required.
- Previous teaching experience in higher education is highly desirable.
- Experience working with students in a classroom or clinical setting is essential.
- Strong knowledge of acute and long-term care practices and principles.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage students effectively.
- Familiarity with curriculum development processes is an advantage.
