Position Summary
The Assistant Store Manager (ASM) is an integral part of the operations team, reporting directly to the Store Director. The ASM is the leader of the front-of-house and sales team, responsible for ensuring an exceptional client experience and supporting both team members and clients through servant leadership. This role requires someone who loves people, thrives in a dynamic environment, and takes pride in delivering operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Client Experience
- Own the client journey and overall experience for the store.
- Oversee the front desk, including phone calls, client scheduling, and ensuring smooth daily operations.
- Handle minor staff and client complaints as directed by the Store Director to maintain a positive environment.
Team Leadership
- Lead the front-of-house team, providing coaching and support to ensure optimal performance.
- Create and manage the front-of-house team schedule, ensuring appropriate coverage at all times.
- Perform regular audits and identify areas for improvement for the front-of-house team and store performance.
Event and Revenue Strategy
- Collaborate with the Store Director to plan community events and in-store client parties.
- Network with clients to book a minimum of one client party or store event per month.
- Support clinicians and team members to develop effective treatment plans and drive client purchases.
Operational Excellence
- Aid in inventory management, including submitting order requests, entering inventory into systems, and investigating missing inventory to find solutions alongside the Store Director.
- Work with the front-of-house team and clinicians to identify and execute sales opportunities.
Qualifications
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with a passion for servant leadership.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Sales and customer service experience, preferably in the medical aesthetics or retail industry.
- Comfortable performing audits and identifying areas for improvement.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team of clinicians, front-of-house staff, and clients.
- Sales experience required, with B2C sales experience preferred.
- Flexibility to work a minimum of 2 Saturdays per month based on store needs.
