Position Overview:

We are in search of a detail-oriented, motivated, and bilingual (English/Spanish) Medical Appointment Setter to join our remote workforce. This critical role involves facilitating effective communication between patients and healthcare providers to ensure the timely and efficient scheduling and reminding of medical appointments.

*Key Responsibilities:

Schedule, reschedule, or cancel medical appointments in response to patient requests, communicating in both English and Spanish.

Inform patients about what to expect and how to prepare for their appointments.

Send appointment reminders to patients via phone, email, or text, ensuring they have all the necessary information for their visit.

Maintain strict confidentiality in line with HIPAA regulations.

Accurately document patient interactions, appointments, and required follow-up tasks.

Work closely with healthcare providers to streamline the appointment scheduling process.

Identify and relay any potential issues or opportunities for process improvement.

Engage in ongoing training to stay abreast of developments in remote patient monitoring and healthcare best practices.

*Requirements:

Proficiency in English and Spanish, with exemplary verbal and written communication abilities.

Experience in a customer service or appointment setting role, preferably within the healthcare sector.

Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, capable of working effectively in a remote environment.

Proficient with computers and familiar with scheduling software.

A proactive approach to problem-solving and process enhancement.

The ability to maintain a professional and composed demeanor in stressful situations.

*Salary & Benefits:

This is a full-time or part-time remote position with a starting pay of $20 per hour.
