Requirements:
- Experience in biomedical equipment maintenance or a related field (1-3 years)
- Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in diagnostic tools and software.
- Experience with safety standards and medical regulations.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
Preferred:
- Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET) or equivalent.
- Relevant OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) certifications.
Responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on medical equipment.
- Diagnose and repair malfunctioning medical devices.
- Install and configure new biomedical equipment.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare safety standards (e.g., FDA, OSHA, TJC).
- Provide technical assistance to healthcare staff regarding the operation of medical devices.
- Track inventory of biomedical devices and parts.
- Work with vendors and manufacturers for technical support and warranty repairs.
