ArcGIS Developer (hybrid)

12422 – GIS Developer (hybrid) – Tallahassee, FL

Start Date : ASAP

Type : Temporary Project

Estimated Duration :   5 months with possible extensions

Work Setting : Limited telecommuting is currently an option for this position. Candidates are expected to work a minimum of 3 full days per week in the office. The selected candidate is required to start their first day in the office. In the future, and at the Client`s discretion, this option may return to full-time, in the office.

Requirements :

  • Availability to work at the Client’s site in Tallahassee, FL (required);
  • Experience with ArcGIS Enterprise (5 years);
  • Experience with ArcGIS Portal management (5 years);
  • Experience with ArcGIS Online (8 years);
  • Experience with SQL Server & Geodatabase management;
  • Experience with ArcGIS for Desktop and Extensions (5 years);
  • Experience developing and maintaining documentation, including metadata;
  • Experience developing Cloud solutions or web-based ArcGIS APIs (ESRI API, ArcGIS REST API, Portal API, etc. (5 years).

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following :

  • Assist with the GIS System of Engagement (SoE) in the development and deployment of solutions aimed at the integration of systems to ensure optimal resource utilization and a connected experience for all users;
  • Assist with the AASHTOWare systems in the maintenance and upgrading of the product;
  • Assist in the support of the Application Services Team with activities that explore and optimize existing processes, applications, legacy systems, databases, web interfaces, and / or hardware, in order to meet the new and emerging enterprise requirements in support of current and future business needs;
  • Work with both internal and external customers to gather business requirements, develop deliverables, and perform both database and data analysis allowing for effective sharing of information and adoption of core and new technology;
  • Provide technical GIS support to FDOT Central Office and Districts in the use of GIS web map services and ArcGIS Enterprise (Portal & ArcGIS Server;
  • Provide technical support related to ArcGIS Online, ArcMap, ArcGIS PRO, ArcGIS Portal, AASHTOWare, and Server extensions and add-ons;
  • Provide technical support to Central Office and Districts and the design and implementation of ArcGIS, ESRI WebApps, and AASHTOWare projects.
