Start Date : ASAP
Type : Temporary Project
Estimated Duration : 12 months with possible extensions
Work Setting : 100% of the time at the Client’s site. No telecommuting or remote work. This is a non-negotiable requirement from the client
Required :
Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client’s site in Norfolk, NE (required);
Experience with electrical construction means and methods, including NEC, NERC, FERC, and NFPA.
Experience with drawing review and field electrical quality control inspection.
Experience with organization and progress reporting.
Experience with computer skills : Outlook, PDF edit, Word, Excel, document control systems, and PowerPoint.
Experience with communication with third parties and suppliers .
Experience with schedule and planning understanding.
Responsibilities :
Oversee third-party Transmission and Sub Station construction, including permitting, right of way clearing, foundations, structure erection, conductor stringing sagging and clip in, communications fiber optics, demarcation end structures, substation facility construction, safety, SCADA and instrumentation, electrical startup, and commissioning.
Oversee electrical scope management, including schedules and engineering interface.
Work collaboratively with resources and sub-suppliers in various disciplines to determine project priorities, schedule, and work plans to meet milestones.
Report daily, weekly, and monthly on progress, quality control, and safety.
Record, name, and upload electrical installation QC photographs.
Facilitate the process with parties on requests for information and design change notifications.
Ensure projects are efficiently, effectively, and safely implemented in accordance with department procedures, local regulations, contracts, and policies.
