12337 – Microsoft Azure Cloud Systems Architect (onsite) – Tallahassee, FL
Start Date : ASAP
Type : Temporary Project
Estimated Duration : 4 months with possible extensions
Work Setting : Onsite
Required :
Availability to work 100% at the Client’s site in Tallahassee, FL (required);
Strong professional experience as a Microsoft Azure cloud systems architect (2-3 years).
Experience with other cloud providers, such as AWS or GCP (2-3 years).
Professional experience in information systems engineering or another related field (5-8 years).
Professional experience supporting middleware such as API Management, IT Service Automation tools, and batch job services (5 years).
Professional experience in the administration of Microsoft software (2-3 years).
Experience in Enterprise Architecture (2-3 years).
Preferred :
Experience in administration of ESRI GIS software (2-3 years);
Experience with Enterprise Architecture (2-3 years);
Experience with other cloud providers, such as AWS or GCP (2-3 years);
Experience supporting middleware such as API Management, IT Service Automation tools, and batch job services (5 years);
Experience in the administration of Microsoft software (2-3 years)
Experience with Linux (Redhat and Ubuntu);
Experience with .Net application development in a DevOps environment;
Microsoft Azure certification.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following :
Understand, deploy, and manage Microsoft Azure and / or other cloud services. Enhance infrastructure, application, and system monitoring solutions to prioritize system uptime.
Recommend and assist with the building and hosting of complex application solutions. Find opportunities to refactor solutions for better performance, cost, and efficiency.
Create and manage Azure DevOps projects, git repositories, and pipelines.
Troubleshoot issues brought forth by developers and other architects. Provide technical expertise and support for Microsoft Power Platform.
Automate processes wherever possible.
Generate and maintain technical documentation. Review, advise, and design based on risks, costs, benefits, and impact on enterprise business processes and goals.
Present findings of new technologies, enterprise-wide issues, and enhancements to peers. Effectively communicate technical information both verbally and in writing.
