12275 – Project Estimator (onsite) – Juno Beach, FL
Start Date : ASAP
Type : Temporary Project
Estimated Duration : 12 months with possible extensions.
Work Setting : 100% of the time at the Client’s site. No telecommuting or remote work. This is a non-negotiable requirement from the client
Required :
Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client’s site in Juno Beach, FL (required);
Experience in estimating or construction on large, heavy civil projects in the power market sector (1 year or 7 years);
Experience with Excel
Preferred :
Experienc e in renewables or transmission projects.
Field Experience (5 years);
Bachelor's Degree in the following Fields of Study : Mechanical or Civil Engineering, Construction Science, Construction Management.
Responsibilities :
Review designs and specifications for cost effectiveness and suggests alternatives when appropriate
Coordinate and interface on a regular basis with other departments to ensure communication and understanding of proposal / project objectives and the most efficient and productive utilization of resources
Review layouts, designs and specifications for cost effectiveness and suggests alternatives when appropriate
Remains current with technology and industry evolution in order to assure that project capital estimates anticipate the correct market conditions
Establishes, builds and implements metrics for cost and construction estimate checks
Mentors and develops junior members of the team
