Start Time: 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM
Workdays: Monday to Friday

Vitco Foods is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring efficient stock management, and supporting smooth warehouse operations.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments, verifying quantities and quality against purchase orders.
- Put away stock in designated warehouse locations, ensuring proper labeling and organization.
- Pick and pack orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory counts to reconcile discrepancies and maintain accurate inventory levels.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, including damaged, missing, or returned items.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, including receipts, shipments, adjustments, and returns.
- Use inventory management software and other tools to track inventory levels, generate reports, and analyze data.
- Monitor stock levels and alert supervisors of potential shortages or overstock situations.
- Collaborate with purchasing, sales, and other departments to ensure smooth inventory flow.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to safety regulations and procedures.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and scanners (if certified).
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college or vocational training preferred.
- Proven experience in inventory control or a related field (preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
- Forklift certification (preferred, but not always required).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures.
- Understanding of supply chain principles.
- Experience in a food delivery environment.
Physical Demands:
- Frequent standing and walking
- Ability to work in a freezer environment
- Ability to lift to 50 pounds continuously
Work Environment:
- Work performed in a freezer warehouse setting
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
