Position Summary

Vitense Golfland is looking for energetic, outgoing, and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Caddysnacks Attendants! This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment, providing food, drinks, and treats to guests.

The Caddysnacks Attendant is responsible for taking orders, scooping ice cream, preparing and serving treats and beverages, managing food pick-up, and maintaining cleanliness and organization behind the counter and throughout the dining area.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service & Order Management

• Greet guests warmly and assist them with orders at the counter or self-service kiosk.
• Process transactions using the Toast POS system, handling cash, credit, and gift card payments.
• Answer customer questions about menu items, dietary options, and pricing.
• Ensure quick and accurate service at the food pickup station.
  
  

Ice Cream Scooping & Treat Preparation

• Scoop and serve Chocolate Shoppe ice cream while ensuring proper portion sizes.
• Learn and explain the 16 flavors, including dairy-free and nut-containing options.
• Prepare and serve frozen treats, including:
• Shakes & Malts
• Sundaes & Floats
• Slushies & Smoothies
• Handle cones, cups, toppings, and sauces while maintaining portion accuracy.
• Follow proper scooping techniques to minimize waste and maintain efficiency.
  

Food & Beverage Preparation

• Prepare and serve specialty items such as:
• Boba Tea
• Dirty Soda
• Mini Donuts
• Pour and serve beer, wine, and basic mixed drinks while following ID verification and wristband policies.
• Assemble pre-prepared food items and ensure proper food handling and storage.
• Stay alert for incoming ticket orders and coordinate with kitchen runners for food pickup.
  

Station Maintenance & Cleanliness

• Keep the Caddysnacks counter, ice cream station, and dining area clean and organized.
• Restock all supplies needed behind the Caddysnacks counter, including but not limited to bottled beverages, drink ingredients, ice cream tubs, toppings, napkins, and cups.
• Maintain food safety and sanitation protocols, including frequent handwashing and glove use. Follow cleaning and washing steps for supplies and ensure ingredients are within date.
• Bus used dishes in the Caddysnacks dining area and bring them to the kitchen dishwasher.
• Assist with closing duties, such as mopping, sanitizing workstations, and shutting down equipment.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, outgoing personality.
• Ability to scoop hard-packed ice cream efficiently and quickly.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
• Experience handling cash and POS systems (training provided).
• Attention to detail when preparing food and drinks.
• Ability to multitask and work well as part of a team, especially during busy periods.
• Food service or retail experience is a plus but not required—we’ll train the right candidate!
