About this Role
The Operations Manager plays a crucial role in leading our team at Viterra US. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the facility, ensuring that all aspects of operations are running smoothly and efficiently.
- Manage and assure effective inventory control within company requirements
- Engage and maintain at or below the operational cost control plan
- Assist location manager in development and execution of facility improvements
- Maximize mix & blend opportunities by utilizing in house stocks and grain available in the marketplace using effective space allocation
You will also be responsible for scheduling and leading all preventative maintenance functions while maintaining a safe and reliable facility in compliance with OSHA grain handling standards.
