Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Millwright Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and be proficient in maintaining, installing, and repairing various types of machinery and ag related equipment. This role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The Millwright Supervisor will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our facilities.
Responsibilities
- Supervises group of millwright employees. Responsible for assembling and installing equipment using power tools. Repairs and lubricates machines and equipment. Connects power units to machines and tests units to evaluate its mechanical operations. Replace defective parts of machine or adjust clearances and alignment of moving parts. Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of field elevators. Schedules and oversees any outside contract work/repair of facility. Provides technical support and direction to maintenance mechanics and non-exempt support personnel. Oversees construction and repair projects, including design work.
Requirements
- Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in industrial settings.
- Familiarity with HVAC/R systems is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in using electrical testing tools such as ohmmeters and ammeters.
- Experience with scissor lifts and safety protocols associated with their operation.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex machinery issues.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
- A background in technical sales is a plus but not mandatory.
