We are seeking a dynamic, strategic, and results-driven Head of Global Events Marketing to lead the strategy and execution of Vitesse’s comprehensive global events program. As we expand our presence in the U.S. and experience massive growth, we need a strong motor and strategy behind our events to fuel this momentum. This role requires a result-oriented leader who can oversee every detail of event planning and execution, from large-scale global trade shows to bespoke client engagements and hospitality events. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in B2B events marketing, a proven track record of driving revenue through events, and strong cross-functional leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities
Events Strategy:
- Develop and execute a 12-month rolling global events roadmap, primarily in the EU, UK and US, covering vertical-related trade shows, regional events, bespoke events, and hospitality programs.
- Rationalize and prioritize events based on business objectives, including brand awareness, lead generation, and customer engagement.
- Establish and monitor KPIs and ROI tracking models to assess the effectiveness and relevance of each event.
- Oversee all aspects of event execution, including booth design, event logistics, vendor management, and on-site operations.
- Manage the development of event-related collateral, merchandise, and promotional materials to ensure brand consistency.
- Evaluate and negotiate sponsorship opportunities to maximize brand visibility and strategic value.
- Work closely with Commercial, Sales, Marketing, Product Marketing, and Sales Operations teams to align event strategies with business goals.
- Ensure seamless integration of events with broader marketing campaigns and demand generation activities.
- Design targeted pre- and post-event marketing campaigns to drive lead generation and pipeline acceleration.
- Implement processes for lead capture, management, and follow-up in collaboration with Sales and Marketing Operations.
- Partner with PR & Comms to secure speaking opportunities, panel participation, and thought leadership roles for Vitesse executives.
- Ensure successful exposure and delivery of the Vitesse voice across events.
- Create scalable event management processes, tools, and systems to drive efficiency and consistency.
- Implement best practices for event planning, execution, and post-event analysis.
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing global events team.
- Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- 10 years of event marketing experience, including global event strategy and execution.
- Proven ability to manage complex event programs, from trade shows to bespoke and hospitality events.
- Strong background in B2B technology or insurtech (preferred).
- Expertise in event design, sponsorship management, and vendor negotiations.
- Exceptional project management, budget management, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with event management tools (e.g., Salesforce, Marketo, Bizzabo).
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Insurtech, fintech, or related industry background.
- Experience in scaling event programs globally.
- Ability to travel ~25% of the time.
