About the Role:
Vitol is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team and lead our RNG operations in a safe and compliant environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage site operators to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational problems promptly and effectively.
- Oversee third-party contractors for major repairs and maintenance, ensuring adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Manage and follow SOPs, including LOTO, Job Hazard Analysis (JHA), work permits, and Management of Change (MOC) program.
- Provide and support compliance and regulatory departments with site and pipeline data and activities.
- Evaluate site data to ensure compliance with programs and regulations.
- Review engineering deliverables for accuracy and completeness.
- Assist in design reviews and evaluate potential design changes.
- Determine and implement federal, state, and local requirements for construction and operational activities.
- Occasionally travel to project sites for major O&M activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited University; Chemical Engineering degree preferred.
- 3-5 years of related experience and/or training.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Knowledge of Database and Project Management software, Mechanical, P&ID, and Electrical engineering design and concepts.
- Solid experience with AutoCAD Design software.
- P&ID experience is strongly preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is a strong preference.
Compensation and Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, 401k, life insurance, short-term & long-term disability, and more.
