Position Overview

Now Hiring! Quality Control TechnicianLocation: Lockport, IL 60441Schedule: Full Time$18- $21 What You’ll Do:

• Following the Shipment Inspection Checklist, conduct quality assessment measures of all products ready to be shipped, including product returns from customers.
• Resolve quality-related issues while adhering to deadlines.
• Prepare documentation of the inspection process, which includes detailed reports and performance records.
• Accurate and timely inspection/calibration of our monitoring and measuring devices.
• Recommend improvement measures to the production process to ensure quality control standards are met.
• Manage the monitoring, measurement, and review of internal processes, especially those that affect the quality of the organization’s products.
• Assist in the preparation of periodic quality meetings.
• Technician will also be cross trained in other areas, including, but not limited to: Shipping/Receiving and Inventory Control.

What You’ll Need:

• 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control.
• Strong attention to detail and good vision.
• Solid judgement and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work overtime as required by the needs of the business.
• Ability to work well with others, follow instructions and meet company goals.
• Ability to communicate professionally both orally and in written form.
• Ability to follow written and verbal procedures and meet quality and safety standards.
• Ability to work in a standing position for long periods (up to 8 hours).
• Ability to reach, bend, stoop, push and/or pull, and frequently lift up to 20 pounds.
• Experience with Microsoft Tools (especially Excel, Word).
• ISO9001:2015 experience is a plus.

Pay Range

USD $18.00 - USD $21.00 /Hr.
