Vitrek LLC is seeking a highly skilled Electronics Engineering Technician to join our team in Lockport, IL. As an Electrical Test & Measurement Equipment Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our products.
Responsibilities include:
- Use schematics, oscilloscopes, and other tools to troubleshoot PCB assembly to component level.
- Final 'box build', testing, and calibration of Electrical Test & Measurement equipment.
- Repair, test, & calibrate customer units which have been returned for service.
- Complete and maintain production documentation, including repair database and inventory management.
- Communicate with customers regarding equipment performance and application assistance.
Requirements:
- A thorough knowledge of electrical and electronic theory.
- Experience reading schematics and effectively troubleshooting systems and circuit assemblies.
- Experience with standard manufacturing processes and software applications.
- Skilled in the use of multi-meters, oscilloscopes, and other electrical test equipment.
- Ability to work OT on an as-needed basis to meet company goals.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to follow verbal instructions as well as written procedures.
- Must possess solid judgment and decision-making skills.
- Must be well organized and be able to multi-task.
- Ability to communicate professionally both orally and in written form.
- Ability to work well with others and must be a conscientious and cooperative team player
