Responsibilities:
Speak to patients about available therapies and procedures as directed by the physician.
Be prepared to perform baseline ophthalmic procedures if needed.
Provide instructions on how to take any prescribed medications or at-home protocols for post-therapeutic care.
Encourage patients to provide feedback about their care and help answer their questions.
Assist the doctor with any patient follow-up plans required post-treatment.
Must have great communication skills, both verbal and written.
Exhibit excellent bedside manner, invested in making patients feel at ease and comfortable throughout their visit.
