The QC Analyst II position operates within VitriVax Quality Control department. This position is responsible for building out VitriVaxs endotoxin testing system, establishing procedures and testing strategies for bioburden, appearance assays, and other routine analytical testing procedures. This position will collaborate with pilot plant engineers and other colleagues to test ALTA platform products with appropriate data management and compliance with regulations. This role reports to the Vice President of CMC. This is a full-time position, located in Boulder, Colorado. This is a predominantly in-office position, however occasional remote work will be allowed.Responsibilities and Duties : The QC Analyst II will be responsible for the development and routine testing of endotoxin at VitriVax. The QC Analyst II will continue the build-out of other environmental monitoring and product release assays at the direction of the VP of CMC, or other QC employees as the company analytical capabilities progress. The role is responsible for providing support for batch disposition, assisting in maintaining facility control, generating appropriate reports, and organizing / implementing appropriate processes. Provide quality control and microbiology support to operations. o Organize, manage, review and trend all environmental monitoring data. o Provide trending reports to upper management. o Lead and draft investigations as they relate to environmental monitoring or quality control deviations. o Implementing CAPAs as they relate to routine and production environmental monitoring deviations. o Solve process, procedural, equipment issues via experimentation or revision of procedures. o Supports all environmental monitoring validations. Work directly with project managers, scientists, and clients to meet project goals. Work involves hazardous chemicals, biological substances, and laser beams. This position routinely lifts up to 30 lbs. in the course of duties assigned.
