Vitruvian Health and Hamilton Physician Group (HPG) are seeking a Child Psychologist to join the team at Hamilton Medical Center.
Eligible candidates must possess:
- A Doctoral Degree in Psychology, preferably in Clinical Psychology or Counseling Psychology
- An internship/residency and doctorate program accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA)
- A Georgia license or eligibility to apply for one
- Prior experience in counseling/testing, preferably with a pediatric population
- Strong clinical diagnostic and testing skills
- Ability to interpret information and select proper instrumentation/supplies for patients' needs
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- A commitment to quality, patient safety, and evidence-based care

The Anna Shaw Children's Institute is an affiliate of Vitruvian Health Care System, providing medical and psychiatric care services for children with developmental delays and behavioral issues in Dalton, Georgia. As a valued member of our care team, you will work closely with other professionals to conduct comprehensive evaluations, administer and interpret test data, and develop educational programming recommendations. You will also provide individual and family psychotherapy and counseling to promote safety, understanding, and good mental health. Other responsibilities may include supervising post-doctoral fellows and psychometrics.
