What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sr. Azure Cloud Network Engineer - W2 position at VITS Consulting Corp?
Skills Needed : Desired Skills
- Five (5) or more years of Cloud Network infrastructure design, implementation, and support.
- Expert knowledge and skills in TCP / IP and network security, compliance, and best practice.
- Ability to perform advanced technical issue analysis and troubleshooting within a Cloud infrastructure
- Experience migrating legacy applications to cloud environments while adhering to cloud native standards
- Strong network engineering experience (Cisco route / switch, firewall, load balancing, DNS)
- Cloud networking experience in one or more platforms : Azure, AWS, Google, on premise cloud.
- Strong analytical, oral and written communications, problem solving, and human relations skills.
- Candidates should have full lifecycle experience with hybrid clouds including : architecture / design, build, and ongoing operational support
- Experience in creating training materials and educating team members as well as technical stakeholders
- Cisco CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network , Checkpoint, or other network certifications
- Experience using network protocol analyzers for configuring and fine-tune monitoring, alerting, and event management for cloud network services
Special Client / Partner Notes :
2-year contract The work is expected to be hybrid, part remote and part in-person. Resource will be expected to be in the office 2 days per week minimum, may vary based on workload. One of the days onsite must be Monday or Friday each week. Onsite work located at 1430 Maryland Ave E, Saint Paul, MN 55106.
