Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Armed Guard Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their assets. This role requires a strong sense of responsibility, excellent conflict management skills, and the ability to respond effectively to various situations. The Armed Guard Driver will play a crucial role in protecting property, personnel, and ensuring compliance with security protocols.
Duties
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to deter and detect unauthorized activities or breaches of security.
- Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies while maintaining composure under pressure.
- Conduct thorough inspections of premises and vehicles, ensuring adherence to safety regulations.
- Utilize GPS technology for navigation
- Engage in conflict management techniques to de-escalate potentially volatile situations.
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations using basic math skills for reporting purposes.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to report criminal activities or suspicious behavior.
- Perform heavy lifting as required during the execution of duties, including moving equipment or assisting in emergency situations.
Requirements
- Must possess a valid armed security guard certificate or equivalent certification.
- Previous experience in law enforcement or military service is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations.
- Proficient in basic math skills for accurate reporting and record keeping.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks as required by the position.
- Experience in commercial driving or as a delivery driver is a plus but not essential.
- Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
