What are the responsibilities and job description for the Regional Food Service Director position at Viva Senior Living?
* Oversee multiple Food Service departments in multiple locations.
*Maintains purchasing of departments supplies and raw food, while operating within budget.
*Expected to work as needed to cover open Food Service director positions.
* Menu planning and development, including variety of resident diet needs and preferences.
*Able to instruct, demonstrate and assist in the kitchen aspect of the Food Service department while also managing training of dining room employees.
*Maintain federal, state and local department of health regulations at all times regarding sanitation and safety in areas of food service operations.
*Interact and communicate with residents, families, staff and guests on a daily basis.
* Coordinate and supervise all food service personnel regarding production, quantity, quality, cost control, labor hours with scheduling, employee training and orientation.
* Conduct accurate monthly inventory, monthly spend down analysis and tracking of all meals leaving kitchen and submitting these reports to the Support Center.
* Conduct ongoing interviewing, hiring, orientation, and training for all department staff.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $67,000.00 per year

- Supervising experience: 2 years (Preferred)
