Job Description
Position Description
The LPN shall be responsible for the administration of medications and treatments to include documentation of receiving, noting, and implementing of other medical provider orders; update resident care plans; performing resident evaluations; directs care provided by caregivers during a shift of care, as well as other duties in the provision of care for residents. All care will be provided in accordance with applicable federal, state and local rules, regulations and laws within the nursing scope of practice and in the most professional manner possible. Performs related work and other duties as assigned. The client is a continuing care retirement home operated and funded by the client . The Home provides care and services to residents requiring supervisory, personal, and directed care; qualifications for admission are defined in client statute.
Skills Required
Medication administration and documentation in a safe, timely manner in accordance with all applicable rules, regulations, laws, polices and procedures. Administration of treatments and documentation in a safe, timely manner in accordance with all applicable rules, regulations, laws, polices and procedures. Documents and communicates resident care and conditions in both written and verbal form to interdisciplinary team and other health care settings to ensure continuity of care with adherence to HIPAA regulations. Performs evaluations and documents findings with communication to the physician as indicated. Updates resident care plans. Documents care provided. Resolves interpersonal conflicts, work procedure issues, and answer questions regarding care. Assists in training and reinforcement of care needed during care shift. Delegates tasks to caregivers and oversee their completion. Acts as an advocate for residents in the delivery of quality care with regard for resident's rights, wishes, and directives.

Education Required LPN license that is current and valid in the Arizona Current CPR
