Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual treatment needs.
- Administer acupuncture treatments using various techniques, including trigger point therapy.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Educate patients on acupuncture techniques, benefits, and aftercare.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with medical standards.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
- Stay updated on the latest developments in acupuncture practices and pain management strategies.
Qualifications
- Certification in acupuncture from an accredited institution is required.
- CPR Certification is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and physiology.
- Experience in acute pain management and patient assessment is highly desirable.
- Excellent patient service skills with a focus on empathy and communication.
- Ability to perform physical examinations as needed.
