What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Planning Specialist position at Vivacity Tech PBC?
Vivacity Tech is looking for a Production Planning Coordinator, this role will gather all production information from customers and coordinate with the Planning and Logistics Manager for any additional information needed for sales orders. This person will also communicate with customers on issues or items needed during production and coordinate with the production team to ensure deadlines are met. To be successful as a Production Planning Coordinator you must have excellent attention to detail. A great Production Admin can successfully multitask on a daily basis.
This is an In-Person, Full-Time, Monday - Friday, 1st shift position.

While no day will be completely the same, you will execute daily responsibilities in these various functions:
- Process orders to ensure they are shipped in a timely manner
- Gather asset tag, white glove, heat transfer, laser etching logo, and all other necessary information for production
- Collect information from customers for our licensing and service requirements
- Consolidate information obtained from customers and relay this to the production team
- Allocate and process inventory availability for orders. In the event inventory is not available, coordinate with the operations, parts, procurement and sales teams to ensure proper inventory for order fulfillment
- Place orders for products and items needed for production
- Serve as an escalation path for the Production Team to continue without delays
- Upon inventory arrival, research associated backorders and update order status accordingly
- Perform other duties as assigned

What Education and Experience Levels Are We Looking For?:
- High school diploma and minimum 1 years relevant experience required
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
