We currently have an opportunity for the Front Desk position at our Kendall location.
Job Summary
The Front Desk is responsible for managing the front desk operations, including patient check-in, scheduling appointments, handling inquiries, and maintaining a welcoming and efficient reception area. This role is pivotal in creating a positive first impression for patients and facilitating smooth communication between staff and patients.
Job Responsibilities
• Greet and assist patients as they arrive, ensuring a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
• Manage patient check-in and check-out processes, verifying and updating patient information.
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments, coordinating with healthcare providers to optimize appointment availability.
• Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries, providing information or directing calls to the appropriate staff member.
• Process patient payments, verify insurance information, and assist with billing inquiries.
• Maintain organized patient records and ensure accuracy of data in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Coordinate with medical staff to prioritize and manage patient flow within the clinic.
• Address and resolve patient concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with other administrative staff to ensure smooth clinic operations.
• Stay informed about changes in healthcare policies, insurance regulations, and clinic procedures.
