Your role
- Support senior estimator by obtaining and organizing vendor quotes, performing material take-offs, and comparing scopes from vendors and subcontractors.
- Ensure timely bid preparation through persistent follow-up with vendors and attend pre-bid meetings, bid openings, and site walkthroughs.
- Review and interpret construction plans to assist in accurate cost estimation and bid development.
What you’ll need
- Engineering or construction background
- Experience in estimating is a plus
- Experience in the water/wastewater sector is a plus
