TEAM LEAD / CREW POSTINGS

We are growing our event delivery and setup team!

Vivant Event Rentals is an event furniture rental company specializing in luxury weddings.

Delivery Crew pack and deliver orders to event venues throughout Florida and occasionally out of state. Crew are responsible for the secure and safe transport and placement of event furniture and accessories.

They represent Vivant Event Rentals while working and are expected to be courteous, helpful, safe, and careful while working in our warehouse or at an alternate location.

This is a 1099 independent contractor position. Most shifts occur on weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday), deliveries during the day (between 9 am to 5 pm) with pick-ups usually late at night (11 pm to 2 am). Week day shifts are available, but very limited. Hours will vary week to week and are flexible to fit many different schedules.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

- Takes pride in providing great customer service, including having a courteous and helpful attitude

- Has a team - player mentality, showing leadership by example, using kind & professional language during all shifts, including in the warehouse and on site at events

- Works hard to safely pack, transport and place furniture and accessories, caring for company pieces as if they were your own

- Thrives in high - pressure situations, remaining flexible, organized and efficient

- Is punctual to shifts and deliveries

- Lift and move furniture up to 100 lbs.

- Must have a valid Florida Class C driver’s license

- Future opportunity to be a driver if you have a clean driving record and after completing training. Vivant uses 26-foot box trucks.

- Ability to speak, read and write English

- Comfortable with taking direction from female management

- Proficiency of basic tools including drills, and painting skills

- The employee may need to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Additional heavy items with multiple person lift.

- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and ability to focus

- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to heavy

- The temperature will vary from hot to cold depending on the weather

- Must be comfortable working on a ladder and comfortable with heights

Compensation for crew begins at $20 / hour. After a trial period with proven performance, crew can be eligible to become a driver/lead. Compensation for driver/leads is $25 / hour. Compensation is periodically reviewed upon performance. Opportunity for advancement and leadership exist. Bonuses and incentives are offered for leadership, safety and team referrals. Company shirts are provided upon hire.
