Job Title: Controller
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all accounting operations, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Payroll.
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets.
- Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
- Lead and manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
- Partner with operations and supply chain teams to analyze production costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and enhance profitability.
- Manage cash flow, forecasting, and treasury functions.
- Support external audits, tax filings, and compliance reporting.
- Lead and mentor the accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making and business growth initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and manufacturing-specific regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- 7 years of progressive experience in accounting/finance roles, with at least 3 years in the manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and cost accounting principles specific to manufacturing.
- Proven experience managing financial systems, ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite), and reporting tools.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
PAY TRANSPARENCY: The estimated annual pay range for this position is $135k - $150k discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will be determined by the hiring authority and may vary depending on qualifications and other factors relevant to the responsibilities of the role.
