Job Title: Financial Analyst
Overview: We are seeking a motivated Financial Analyst to demonstrate critical thinking, excellent technical skills, strong communication skills and high standards of accuracy and precision. The Financial Analyst will prepare financial reports, build financial models, support the budgeting and forecasting process, and assist with finance related functions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate critical thinking, excellent technical skills, strong communication skills and high standards of accuracy and precision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and interpret financial outcomes, pinpointing significant discrepancies from budgets, forecasts, and previous time periods. Recognize trends, patterns, and potential areas of concern or growth.
- Assist in crafting annual budgets, quarterly forecasts/business evaluations, and monthly sales predictions.
- Collaborate with CFO to prepare materials and presentations for quarterly Board meetings.
- Identify opportunities for cost reductions, improved workflow efficiencies, and other operational enhancements.
- Address inquiries from key stakeholders regarding specialized information or reporting requirements.
- Ensure accuracy of finance-generated reports through meticulous data validation and attention
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a relevant field.
- 2-3 years of experience in Finance, FP&A, Accounting, or a related field.
- Proficiency in computer skills, particularly in-depth knowledge of MS Excel.
- Familiarity with NetSuite and financial reporting/business intelligence tools is advantageous.
- Experience in short-term and long-term budgeting and forecasting.
- Strong analytical skills, capable of comprehending intricate concepts and articulating recommendations clearly.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
PAY TRANSPARENCY: The estimated annual pay range for this position is $80k -$95k discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will be determined by the hiring authority and may vary depending on qualifications and other factors relevant to the responsibilities of the role.
