Job Title: Senior Accountant
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform complex accounting tasks to maintain an accurate general ledger, including researching new reporting standards and identifying trends for recommendations.
- Lead special projects, including process improvements.
- Support monthly and quarterly close processes.
- Conduct high-level reviews of account balances, including monthly and quarterly flux analysis.
- Identify financial statement errors and risks, ensuring compliance with company policies, US GAAP, and Sarbanes-Oxley.
- Communicate effectively across all organizational levels and escalate issues as needed.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to ensure accuracy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
- CPA preferred but not required.
- Advanced knowledge of US GAAP; IFRS knowledge is a plus.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office and data extraction tools.
- Experience with large ERP systems (Oracle preferred) and Hyperion.
- Proficient in accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
- Excellent organizational and planning skills with a focus on goal execution.
- Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities, particularly with complex issues.
- Ability to resolve difficult issues using professional concepts and company policies, minimizing financial risks.
PAY TRANSPARENCY:
The estimated annual pay range for this position is $90,000 - $95,000. Actual compensation will be determined by qualifications and other factors relevant to the role.
